I've been working on trying to get this up and going for about 5 hrs. straight & am super frustrated. I've triple checked & read everything and am still at a loss. I've gotten it to the point where the calendar does show up (no more internal server error) but no borders / graphics. I moved the themes folder out of the cgi-bin & edited the plans_config.pl to get it to... a browser error stating plans_options undefined? My installation is located at http://www.sci.edu/cgi-bin/plans.cgi (hosted externally at Ipowerweb)
I hope I'm missing something easy as I am unfamiliar with js/perl/cgi troubleshooting. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

Looks like good progress. The theme issue should be pretty quick to fix, and hopefully then you'll be set.
If you view the source of the calendar page, you'll see a reference like this:
| Code: | | <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.sci.edu/plans-theme/plans.css" type="text/css"> |
According to the settings you made in plans_config.pl, the URL of the theme directory is:
http://www.sci.edu/plans-theme/
But when I point my browser at that address, or at any of the files that should be under it, like this:
http://www.sci.edu/plans-theme/plans.css"
I get the "under construction" page. Can you check whether the http://www.sci.edu/plans-theme/ URL is correct?
Let me know what you find out,
- Lloyd |

It was the path to the files! Everything does seem to be working. I will now start looking into how to customize the look to fit our site more. I am wondering though the powered by linux picture doesn't display and the path is still trying to look into the cgi-bin rather than the path of all the rest of the graphics? Is this because of the chmod on the lang js file or something? Thanks sooooooo much for your help. I think your prog is exactly what we need!!! |
