I only use the main calendar for my upcoming events. Therefore I don't need a calendar menu in the upcoming events script on my home page. See http://www.royalstonlibrary.org.

When I remove the code for the menu <div id="upcoming_events_menu"></div>, my upcoming events disappear and I get "Error on page" in the lower left corner of my IE window.

How do I hide the calendar menu?

I've got the same issue. I got the upcoming events to show up but I don't need the dropdown. I'm looking forward to getting a reply to this message.

If you follow the link to the Upcoming Events documentation,
Quote:

http://www.planscalendar.com/doc/doku.php?id=doc:upcoming_events

you will notice that the inline javascript identifies the mode as:
'background_calendars_mode':'list',

change the 'list' to 'one_big_list'

No More Dropdown Menu Smile

You can see an example of list, without the dropdown menu here:

That works well. However, when you select one_big_list, it shows the event of all the calendars. I have 2 calendars and would like to use the events from 1 of them only for the upcoming events. I did change the 'cal_ids':'0'.
What else am I missing?
Thanks.
