Dear All,

Please forgive me as I am a Newbie and I really appreciate your patience in my posts.

I have some questions regarding userid and passwords.

is there some way for me to be able to associate each calender with a userid and a password

then login using the assigned userid and password once to add/edit or maintain the calender ???

instead of having to specify the password everytime i want to add/edit ???

Thanks you so much for your time.

Regards

Vendt

The next version of Plans supports this (sessions). For now, you have to type the password every time you make a change Sad

Although if you're using firefox, it does a nice job of remembering passwords for you.

Loyd, I was going to ask this same question but then noticed this thread.

The fact that you answered in June of 05 leads me to believe this has been implemented - you indicated the functionality would be in the next version.

I am using Plans 7.5.4. How can I turn on this functionality?

I found the section in "plans_config.pl" and the note there about "CGI::Session". I had my ISP install the perl module, made the config change in Plans, and it seems to be working fine Smile
