Wanted to add my thanks for Plans and let others see what I've done (as I've found it very valuable to see other examples).

Still somewhat of a work in progress, but I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Mostly just theme modifications (which anyone is welcome to if you like it).

The one truly custom thing is that I wanted to distinguish a couple categories of events. I made some assumptions that work well for me which is that if the event has a colored background or is multi-day, it is considered a "special event". Otherwise, it's a "regular event". You can see the difference in how these are displayed on the calendar.
