I tried to get the calendar to blend with the site as much as possible, using the CSS for the site. It took me a while to get all the links to look the way I wanted across the whole calendar.
I also tried removing the tabs because my client requested it, she didn't want to entice visitors to try and add stuff, but it didn't look quite right, particularly with the top navigation box, so I settled for a single tab at the top.
I added new icons and tried to create a "transparent" background color so it wouldn't have the box around the event unless the client wanted one, which seems to work okay unless you pull information from another calendar (i.e. the holidays).
I think Plans is a wonderful script, it's easy to install and get running, and looks great. |

Wow, that's some really nice work.
I'd like to make a theme from your css file, and add some of the new icons to the icon download page. Is that ok?
Thanks!

I've just started using Plans for my local church (great script easy to use) I like the idea of removing the extra tabs to help detour people from adding events.
But, how does the adminstrator add an event then? any help you can give would be greatly aprreciated
Thanks

I'd like to do what you did! That is, add a custom header and footer. Would you mind sharing the process, if it's not too complicated!
Thanks!

Well, I figured out how to remove the header and footer and add my own.
BTW, If you remove the tabs, it easy to get to the Add event by going to /plans.cgi?active_tab=1
(active_tab=2 will get you to calendar settings) |
