We are about to go live w/our Cub Scout Packs calendar after I upgraded it to 7.5.4. I have several parents who have iCalendar savy clients so I was testing out the calendar level iCalendar export when I discovered it only seems to export a single entry and not even the currently displayed months.

I went to October 2006 and was viewing our 'combined' Pack calendar and simply selected 'iCalendar (MS Outlook)' as my Export setting and then clicked on Export. I saved the .ICS file to disk an when I looked at it I only see what appears to be the 1st entry ever created in the calendar (for 2-Aug-2005), NOT the entries for the current month being displayed.

Has anyone else seen something like this?

Im running 7.5.4 with IE 6.x. Our calendar is at http://www.hudsoncubscouts.org/Calendar/plans.cgi
Server info:
Linux 2.4.20-43.9.legacysmp kernel
Perl 5.8.7

Bruce,

I'm having trouble duplicating this. when I follow the steps you describe, I get the data shown below.

I'm using firefox 1.5 (I don't have IE available to test right now). Can you give firefox or another browser a try, just to see if this is some IE quirk?

Not sure if this helps at all, but if I export the ical and then doubleclick on it in Windows, Outlook opens it up but just shows the first event like Bruce describes. But if I go into Outlook and Select File, Import/Export, and then import the ical it all works fine.

I had asked our official webmaster to follow up on this but I see he did not.

I have since upgraded our system to 7.7.7 and retested this. The problem appears to be gone. No clue what was the cause but thats past now.
