| does plans have an email interface? if so, is it bi-directional? if it's not bi-directional any guesses as to how hard it would be to make it so? |

I'm not sure if I understand the question. I think the answer is no though 
Plans has email reminders for events, and that's about it.
Can you give an example of what you mean by an email interface?
